ise content are still growing. A Brief History of Time (Hunan Science and Technology Publishing House) and Health Calendar 2019: Doctor Dingxiang (Sichuan Science and Technology Publishing House) have sold more than 200,000 copies, setting a new high in sales of science and technology books. The best-selling of A Brief History of Time has something to do with the death of Stephen Hawking, a famous physicist. Insects (Jiangxi People's Publishing House), My Wildlife Friends and other popular science books which have been sold for many years have shown their vitality with about 100,000 copies of sales.

Fourth, legal books have become new sales hotspots. One of the bestsellers is the revised title of Constitution of the People's Republic of China, after China passed the Amendment to the Constitution In 2018, varied editions of the book sold one million copies, this also triggered a boom in sales of relevant legal books.

Fifth, classical reference books are selling well. In 2018, the market of cultural and educational books continue to be dominated by reference books , especially dictionaries published by Commercial Press, with sales up to 1 million copies for some titles.
